2008 MUSE Award Winners

Recognizing outstanding achievement in museum media, the AAM Media and Technology Committee announces the 19th annual MUSE awards competition.

Thirty judges—museum and media professionals from across the country—selected the winners, showing great enthusiasm and dedication to the field. At the AAM Annual Meeting in May, the MUSE committee presented 9 gold, 8 silver, and 9 bronze awards along with 8 honorable mentions and the Jim Blackaby Ingenuity Award. The winning entries excelled in the use of media for interpretation, interactivity, online-offline integration, attracting new audiences, new distribution methods, and appropriate and innovative technology. The 2008 MUSE Awards competition would not have achieved its goal and mission without the tremendous effort, commitment, and service of these judges.
