Entrants will be notified of their awards status via email.
Winners in each category receive either a Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Honorable Mention award. All awards will be presented and featured at a reception during the AAM Annual Meeting – Sunday, May 19, 2013 – in Baltimore. Winning entries are publicized on the Media & Technology website and in the November-December 2013 issue of Museum.
Winning Entries
Winners will be contacted once all judging has been finalized and information processed by the M&T MUSE chair. At that time, we will request that winners provide us with required information.
If you receive an email that you have won an award, within one week’s time you are required to:
- Confirm the accuracy of the information emailed to you, that includes: entry number, entry title, category, producers (institution + external producer if applicable), primary contact(s) name and email.
- Email one TIF image file representing your entry (.TIF — 300 dpi at 5 inches x 7 inches, to accommodate use on the web, in a PowerPoint presentation, and in print). Note: Use your entry number + category as the file name (e.g., 00000-podcast.TIF)
- Email one Word document with a brief paragraph (200 words maximum) that describes the target audience, goals, and outcome of your project. If you wish to include credits, please include them in prose form rather than as a bulleted list.Note: Use your entry number + category as the file name (e.g., 00000-podcast.doc).
- Gold MUSE winners may be featured in an exciting podcast series showcasing exemplary museum media and technology projects. Gold Winners will be contacted to make arrangements.
Note: If you have multiple winners please send separate materials for each, do not combine.
Winners will not know what specific level of award they have won until the AAM M&T MUSE Awards reception. At that time the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Honorable Mention winners will be announced for each category and will be asked to come on stage to accept their award.
